How much is the rent?
We typically rent our 3 and 4 bedroom houses to 2-4 tenants. For classmates or colleagues sharing a home, houses and townhouses rent for the maximum lodging rate (MLR, $78/day) per bedroom (per person). The current daily Per Diem Rate for Sierra Vista & Ft. Huachuca is $117/day ($78-Lodging/$39-Meals). DFAS will reimburse your lodging expenses up to $78/day.
For families, our homes are priced within the maximum lodging rate (MLR, $78/day) +
Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH varies), or within the maximum per diem rate. The
Maximum Per Diem rate for Fort Huachuca is $110/day, and the Maximum Lodging rate that DFAS will reimburse is $78/day for lodging.
Minimum stay of 30 nights required for all houses.
When is the monthly rent due?
Rent is based on the daily lodging rate for Ft Huachuca & is due every 30 days based on your date of arrival. Payment up front is typical of all apartments & hotels in the local area, however we prefer to keep money in your pocket so we collect at the end of each 30 day period. We do collect an upfront deposit of $500 for each tenant in the property.
What is your process for holding a rental?
We do take reservations in advance. Please contact us with your requested dates and we will make every effort to serve your needs while you are TDY here at Ft Huachuca. We do require a $100 holding fee per person if you choose to reserve a property in advance of your stay. That $100 fee will be applied towards your rent when you arrive and check in. If you decide not to stay with us, the $100 will be forfeited as a cancellation fee.
Can I report early to Ft Huachuca?
Normally, your orders will state whether or not you are authorized to report early. If they do not specifically say that you are not authorized to report early, you may report early. If they clearly state that early reporting is not authorized, do not report early because you may not get paid for the time you are at Fort Huachuca before your class date.
Reserve Component personnel on Active Duty for Training (ADT) MAY NOT REPORT EARLIER than the date your ARPERCEN orders specify.

We offer fully furnished, equipped, & all-inclusive lodging in suburban Sierra Vista, Arizona. Our TDY rentals offer more space and better amenities over other Sierra Vista and Ft. Huachuca lodging, housing, or apartments. Enjoy the comforts of home while at Ft Huachuca. Whether sharing a furnished TDY House with a classmate within the authorized Ft. Huachuca Per Diem Rate, or staying at a slightly above Per Diem rate with your family, TDY housing is a great off post lodging alternative to the Visiting Officers Quarters (VOQ/BOQ), an extended stay hotel, or Fort Huachuca & Sierra Vista extended stay apartments.
